Kokua Lahaina was born out of a deep personal connection to Lahaina, my home for a decade, and a profound sense of loss after witnessing the town’s destruction in the devastating wildfire of August 2023. Maui holds a special place in my heart, and I felt compelled to use my skills to give back to the community that shaped me.
A Maui brand designed with purpose.
Within one week, I designed and developed the website, crafted the product designs and mockups, and engineered a seamless print-on-demand solution. All profits from product sales are donated to the Maui Strong Fund, with the goal of providing meaningful support to the Lahaina community during this difficult time. Kokua Lahaina represents my effort to make a positive impact and contribute to the rebuilding and healing of the ʻohana and ʻāina that have been so important in my life.
